Cabbage Pizza

My version of this hit recipe, perfect for Modified Paleo Diets like mine

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1.5" slice cabbage not including core
  • 2 tabs Olive oil
Possible Topping
  • 2 tabs tomato sauce
  • 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 or 5 slices pepperoni
  • 2 pinch oregano
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • what ever you would normally top a pizza with

Equipment

  • 1 baking pan
  • 1 sharp knife to cut veg

Method
 

  1. Cut (1)1/2 slice of cabbage and save for other use.
  2. Cut (2) one inch slices of cabbage
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  4. Grease bottom of baking pan with oil and place the 2 cabbage slices in pan.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Turn cabbage slices over.
  7. Top slices with sauce or tomatoes, add cheeses or what ever topping you want.
  8. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  9. Enjoy

Notes

The calorie count and expense of this recipe depends on the topping added. I use my homemade tomato sauce and cheese, but it's how ever you like your pizza
